Library Advisory Committee

Acts as liaison between the Borough of North Plainfield and the Somerset County Library Board. Advises the Library Manager and Somerset County Library System on issues of local interest and concern. LAC Related Ordinance

Nine (9) members: Mayor and Superintendent of Schools - Permanent Members Six (6) members appointed by the Mayor requiring Council confirmation - 3-year terms Council Member appointed by Council requiring Council confirmation - 1 year term Meetings are held in the Library at 6 Rockview Avenue.
